Flex-N-Gate Forming Technologies located in Warren, Michigan is currently working with Classic Body Designs on remanufacturing many of the body panels for the 1968 -1970 Dodge Chargers. Flex-N Gate Forming Technologies is a minority supplier and a world class stamping, fabricating and assembly facility involved in the automotive, truck, and agricultural equipment industries. Ron Lushia who owns and operates Classic Body Designs has a vision of supplying replacement panels to the pubic that are as close to the OEM panels in gage and quality, that very little, if any metal finishing will be required when these parts are installed. OEM panels were white light scanned by A.V.E. in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Cutter paths and programs were then written so all tooling could be cut on a cnc mill. All parts were then checked to make sure they were representative of the original panels. Perfection is something Classic Body Designs and Flex-N-Gate demand. Parts that are currently available are the rear quarter panels for the 1968, 1969 and 1970 Chargers, as well as the outer door panels. The front fender, which will be sold as an assembly or as individual components, depending on our customers needs, will be available around summertime in 2008. Ron Dezenski and all the employees of Flex-N-Gate have been working with Ron from Classic Body to make sure that all the quality requirements have been met before allowing these parts to be sold to anyone. Parts have been put onto cars and checked for proper fit and finish by many Mopar experts. The response has been overwhelming.
